Within the last 6 weeks, I have completely shifted my workspace to one more ergonomically suitable for me, and set up my office to be functional. I also set a clear, but important, demarcation between my living space and my office space.
I hate it when my laptop or work notebooks creep around my rocking chair in my living room like skulking vermin, interfering with crochet. I call it “office creep.” Done with that.
So, now I’m functional. It’s not beautiful yet, and there’s a lot more to do, but now my house is settled; the books have all been toted into the basement for a summer clearance sale. I realize now that I have stepped into a completely new phase in working from home.
I’m excited to have this nice space to create new ways for my clients to blossom into their fullness and bring their authentic gifts to the world. The world needs your heart and it needs you to exercise your gifts. That’s why you have them!
There’s an African proverb that says “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” I think going together will make a more interesting journey and soften disappointments.
I really need your help. Please spread the word about The Unmarked Path. I bet you have friends or acquaintances that are feeling stuck and could use a guidebook for their path. Send them the link and let them decide.
I’d love to hear about your experience of how Clearing supported the change in your life. Please take a minute to share your thoughts! Soon, my Facebook page will be open for your comments as well.
